St. Augustine is the nation’s oldest city founded in 1565. With a historic fort overlooking Matanzas Bay, a lighthouse, and old colonial and victorian houses, St. Augustine also boasts a top rated ampitheater with acts such as the Moody Blues, Ringo Starr etc. as well as a long pedestrian street filled with shops, bars and restaurants. St. Augustine is a top destination for weekend getaways from Orlando, Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville as well as the rest of Florida. International guests abound as well. Our staff has always been all volunteer (tips) which helps to keep costs down enabling us to have the lowest rate in the historic district. All rooms are themed and have new king size beds, fridges, ceiling fans etc. The inn is centrally cooled and heated and equipped with Nest thermometers and video surveillance. I bought the business 17 years ago and built it up to what it is today. It can go farther, but I don’t have the energy anymore.
Landlord is very reasonable, reduced the rent by 50% during first 3 months of COVID and is willing to reduce again until business recovers fully. June was one of our best months ever actually.
