Entering its 15th season, FAMILY GUY continues to entertain its die-hard fan base with razor-sharp humor, spot-on parodies, spectacular animation and orchestra-backed original music. Since its debut, the series has reached cult status among fans, and its breakout star, a talking baby, has become one of the greatest TV characters of all time. Meanwhile, the family dog’s untimely death (and resurrection!) made worldwide news. FAMILY GUY has racked up numerous awards, including an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series, only the second animated series in television history to be honored with such a distinction. The series’ creator and lead voice actor, Seth MacFarlane (voice of “Brian Griffin,” “Peter Griffin” and “Stewie Griffin”), recently received a 2014 Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance.

Family Guy follows the adventures of lovable oaf PETER GRIFFIN (Seth MacFarlane) and his hilariously odd family of middle-class New Englanders. LOIS (Alex Borstein) is Peter’s loving wife, a former Miss Teen Rhode Island who rules the roost but is one step away from a nervous breakdown. Then there are their kids: frumpy, 16-year-old MEG (Mila Kunis), the family’s punching bag; 13-year-old CHRIS (Seth Green), a kid who can’t make sense of the opposite sex, much less the evil monkey hiding in his closet; and 1-year-old STEWIE (MacFarlane), a diabolically clever baby whose heterosexuality is hanging by a thread. Rounding out the Griffin household is BRIAN (MacFarlane), the family dog, a member of Mensa with a penchant for dry martinis and dumb blondes.

  19. Αλεξανδρος Κυρκος says:

Stephen King Don’t take cutaway gags too seriously :p

  20. rckblzr12 says:

Ballers is an HBO show that’s kind of lame.

  21. 13th Squad says:

rckblzr12 wait so is it cancelled or what? Because some shows make reference on other tv show by either having their setting or killing off specific character from the cancelled show.

  22. Kïrbÿ köp79 says:

    Ok, shut up.

  23. James Waterson says:

    Kïrbÿ köp79 Yes shut up

  24. rckblzr12 says:

  27. Craig Harvey-Gurr says:

Can we please have an episode that doesn’t involve a scene where Brian gets brutally injured?!

  28. pat deondre says:

    family guy still sucks

  29. Jimmy Campbell says:

Ow. He gets thrown into a wall and gets stabbed so many times, and yet he survives it all? Some _Game of Thrones_ parody _that_ cutaway gag turned out to be. I wonder why his immortality wasn’t reffed in “Life of Brian”. Could it be that they plan on turning my fanfic “The Secret Life of Brian” into an actual episode after all?

  30. Snyder187 says:

rckblzr12 I like it. It shows how football players end up in (over top because its television) traps that some probably actually encounter irl too.

  31. Taylor T says:

Brian actually can but not publish it

  32. Taylor T says:

I like family guy too but you keep commenting the same thing over and over on someone’s page. That can be labeled as harassment. I’m just giving you advise. You can talk about family guy but I think you over do it.

  33. James Waterson says:

Taylor T Remember Family Guy will never end

  34. FuryanJedi13 says:

In theory, you probably could publish it, but ONLY if you get explicit permission from whoever holds the rights to the license. Otherwise, just stick to FanFiction.

Of course, Brian does tend to be a bit pretentious, so he’s probably wilfully overlooking that.

  35. FuryanJedi13 says:

Henrik Magnusson Ugh, tell me about it. Apparently, Star Trek is one of the most notorious when it comes to putting two straight characters of the same gender in a gay relationship.

Seriously, I went looking for some fanfics set in the Mirror Universe, and I LITERALLY could not find EVEN A SINGLE ONE that did not have a gay relationship.

What IS it with those fanfic writers?
