Myrtle Beach's Home Away From Home Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resort | Bed and Breakfast Report

The Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resort is found at 3000 S Ocean BLVD in Myrtle Beach, SC. The resort offers 16 acres of relaxing condo-villas and suites, indoor and outdoor pools, barbecue grills, and other amenities for your leisure and entertainment. Though it is not exactly on the ocean, it’s across the street from the beautiful seashore with its own private oceanfront beach club with pools and a private beach access. It is the ideal place to spend your time in the sun.

The Lagoon Pool Bar opens daily at 11 am and has drink specials daily from 4 pm to 7 pm during happy hour. They serve up a variety drinks and smoothies~of drinks including smoothies or alcoholic cocktails}. They also feature a light menu with wraps and sandwiches. Located just a short distance away is outlet shopping, stellar golf, and a 350-acre dining and entertainment complex, water park, shopping and more. If you are seeking a quick bite there is a Marketplace Grab and Go that has lunch. At the Marketplace you have a light menu featuring sandwiches, salads, pizza and wraps.

The condos and rooms are spacious and feature color cable/satellite TVs, DVD/VCR players and stereos. The resort also has in-room video game rentals available, so no need to bring the console from home. There are video rentals available on property. Great for spending a night in.
Upon arrival a bellperson will assist you with your baggage if so desired.

You will have three accommodation categories to choose from. Some offer more than others. There are a few choices from the regular guest room which comes with; stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, toaster and mini fridge, oh and can’t forget the coffee maker, pots and pans, utensils and plates. They also have a high speed wireless internet connection.

The Executive Club Level and the Suites feature all the electronic features of the guest rooms with the kitchens coming equipped with a coffee maker, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, and toaster. You also have all glassware, silverware, and plates. Every one of them is has high speed wireless internet.

There are daily activities available for all ages. Activity times and locations vary, so you will want to check their activity guide that is presented at check in and is great for your vacation planning. Daily housekeeping or weekly is available but some services may be limited. The property has the convenience of an onsite self-service laundry facility. In the business center you will find a computer for email with high speed internet and a FAX machine.

My favorite time is spent relaxing with the spa features of the Sauna and Whirlpool. Another great thing was having a convenience store on the property and a gift shop for that last minute souvenirs. The Concierge Services helped us pick the right shows to see and some of the best restaurants in town for dining. They are available on site from 9 am to 9 pm. If you are flying then they also have a rental car desk (Enterprise) on site from 9 am to 9 pm . From the airport it is about a 4 mile (6 kilometer) drive. It is just a short 10 – 15 minutes by taxi. One-way should run about $10.00 (USD). The resort has ATM/Cash Machine which is nice, so we did not have to find a bank.

The front desk had safety deposit boxes for any valuables we may have had too. Another nice feature we noticed in the heat of the summer was the resort had many public areas with A/C. Whether you want to soak up the sun, grill outdoors or take in a show the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resort is the perfect place to spend your holiday vacation. We recommend seeing if they are offering any specials.
