Jimbaran Bay beaches are lined with wonderful places to stay from hotels to traditional villas, the kind of hotel that you should expect here is from mid range to 5 star Bali Accommodation.  As with all more expensive places in Bali the service that you can expect is unrivaled.  All the Jimbaran Bay hotels will supply what are basic facilities for these kinds of establishments ; air con, in house restaurants, bars and twenty-four hour room service will be the standard package and the private service you should expect will become more quality orientated as the rates increase.  Only a few minutes from the beach there’s some more secluded hillside accommodation that offers better views and more private facilities.  Jimbaran Bay Hotels all offer shuttle services for you to go to the beach or visit Kuta which is only five minutes drive away.

Even though there is still the presence of local fisherman staying here, Jimbaran Bay budget accommodation is thin and is more tailored to the up market tourist, with the dearer resorts offering private swimming pools, and as you travel a bit more south or north, personal beaches.  All hotels are beautifully landscaped with tropical gardens that are highly well kept and presented.  Bali has always created hotels and villas that have exceptional views and fantastic services and Jimbaran resorts provide all that may be expected from quality Balinese hospitality.

Jimbaran is situated in the south not far away from Bali International airport, where all Bali Flights land.  Although this is a truly popular holiday destination it has not become as commercial as the other places in Bali.  The majority of the seaside resorts that have sprung up along the coast of Bali were small fishing towns at one point, that have changed into massive commercial tourist attractions.  All these resorts have left behind their fishing history and concentrate absolutely on tourism as a source of income.

Staying in one of the Jimbaran Bay hotels is a completely unique experience as the village, although aimed towards tourism, has still kept its fishing industry and it isn’t uncommon to see the fisherman on the beach with their traditional fishing boats and nets.  The village itself is also a mix of the old and the new.  Almost all of the other places to stay in Bali have a beach lined with eateries, bars, clubs and shops that are 100 percent for the use of travelers.  Jimbaran is a fabulous place to stay as the main strip is still suggestive of an Indonesian village which has not been exploited by the traveler industry.  Walking along here you’ll find food stalls and other facilities that are essentially used by the local Balinese fishing community.

Jimbaran beach is a long beach with the blinding white sand that Bali is renowned for with flat water all year round.  The mix of native and holiday maker places makes it a lively and engaging place to stay, the design though mainly consisting of visitor resorts and hotels is also mixed in with the local inhabitants traditional dwellings.  It is a pity, but as the holiday maker industry grows, this tranquil village will doubtless go the way of the other preferred destinations and it will not be too long before the colourful fishing boats of the fisherman are no longer lining the beach.
